The following is an ongoing project. The Nest is the story of a young girl, who one day finds the nest of a blue mocking jay. With time, she grows fond of the blue bird and its nest. One day a tragedy happens and the mocking jay dies. The girl decides to take care of the small egg that survived. However she can't help but ask herself how she's going to raise the small bird, how is she going to teach them to fly? Time passes and they grow together. One day the small girl realizes that she can't keep the bird inside her house forever, she then decides to set the bird free. 

The nest is a story about loss, and about how pain can prevent us from seeking happiness and freedom.
